They don’t limit one’s movements and one can pretty much sit, stand, bend and run in them with ease.

Scrub tops are not just popularly worn in hospitals. They can be worn most everywhere by anyone who wants to wear comfortable work clothes. Dentists, artists, homemakers, artists and even kids are known to wear them, probably because they can double as cheap smocks when they’re doing dirty jobs.
